O How I Love Pizza

There's a hymn, O How I Love Jesus, that is ringing through my head right now as I feel my glucose rise from the pizza I sweet-talked hubby into ordering for dinner tonight.  I think I need to come up with my own lyrics tonight.

O How I Love Pizza

There is a name I love to hear,
I love to sing its worth;
it sounds like music in my ear,
the sweetest food on earth.

O how I love pizza,
O how I love pizza,
O how I love pizza,
even though it raises my glucose!

It tells me of Italian love,
of food to nourish me;
it tells me of the dripping cheese,
the yummy toppings too.

O how I love pizza,
O how I love pizza,
O how I love pizza,
even though it raises my glucose!

It tells of one whose loving crust
can fill my deepest woe;
who through each taste bud fills my heart
with yumminess in my soul.

O how I love pizza,
O how I love pizza,
O how I love pizza,
even though it raises my glucose!
