30 Days of Thankful - Day 21

I am thankful for the chance to be an advocate in the diabetes community.  I am also thankful for the opportunity to educate those around me.  Diabetes isn't a "one size fits all" type of disease, regardless of the type.  Add a lot of the old wives tales about diabetes and there's a lot of misunderstanding to clear up.  I have learned so much from other PWDs (people with diabetes).  So much so that I realize how much more there is yet to learn.
