It's been six months since my last cleaning, which meant it was time for another. I still need to get a root canal done on tooth #14, but that involves a drive out of town and coordinating with hubby's schedule.I was so proud to find out that I have no new cavities! WOOT! However I do need to have a 25+ yr old filling replaced. That doesn't count, no matter what my cousin likes to tease. No new cavities is considered a cavity-free appointment. Replacing an old filling (notice I said the filling was old, not me) does not count as a newly diagnosed cavity, so there!
I will be getting the replacement filling next week and already have my next cleaning scheduled. Going to the dentist can be scary, but not taking care of myself is scarier! Remember, you can do this!
